Abu Dhabi, November 16, 2011: The Higher Cooperation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp) recently announced that it has signed an agreement with the National Health Insurance Company (Daman), where it will be establishing an office within ZonesCorp’s One Stop Shop services center. The agreement follows ZonesCorp’s efforts in continuously enhancing its standards and in facilitating investor services and will provide health insurance for all workers within its zones.
The agreement was signed by HE Mohamed Hasan Al Qamzi, CEO of ZonesCorp, and Dr. Michael Bitzer, Chief Executive Officer for Daman and reiterates ZonesCorp’s commitment to provide the best healthcare coverage for employees working within its Industrial zones. The new Daman office will be located at ZonesCorp’s headquarters and will be providing its usual services to workers during the organization’s working hours as part of ZonesCorp’s One Stop Shop program.
“We are pleased to announce that we have recently signed an agreement with Daman in line with our efforts to provide the best services and support for our investors and their employees. We consider healthcare to be one of our top priorities, and we are continuously working towards providing the best health coverage for employees working within our zones and on providing the best work environment and quality of life for them,” HE Al Qamzi, said.
HE Al Qamzi added: “This agreement also supports our efforts in strengthening our cooperation efforts with prominent public and private entities and organizations in Abu Dhabi to enhance joint programs according to global standards.”
The new Daman office will allow companies and individuals to complete a number of procedures in record time through its advanced mechanisms and efficient services. It will also be responsible for issuing and renewing policies, receiving complaints and for answering enquiries.
ZonesCorp was commissioned by the Abu Dhabi Executive Council to build a number of worker residential cities that meet the highest global standards and reflect the Emirate’s cultural, industrial and economic development. ZonesCorp’s worker cities provide a stable and secure environment for its residents, thereby motivating them to be more productive, in addition to meeting the increasing demand for worker residence developments in the Emirate.
