Eid Mubarak! And a huge sigh of relief for those of you who have been longing to hear the news, because stores dedicated to Semiramis Pastries and Sweets are now available in Dubai. The first store has opened in Uptown Mirdif in time for the forthcoming Eid celebrations.
Zamman Al Cham is the sole distributor in the GCC for Semiramis’ delicious pastries and sweets, which are renowned throughout the GCC and popular in The Levant, Cyprus, the UK and USA. The company has already established the brand in Qatar, and the Uptown Mirdif store is the first in a series of planned openings across the country over the next few months.
Commenting on the opening, Talal Hamed, owner and managing director of Zaman Al Cham, said, “Semiramis pastries are to Syria what chocolate is to Switzerland! Traditionally this family run business manages all its shops and operations itself, but six years ago the family partnered with Zaman Al Cham to represent the brand in Doha and subsequently in KSA, Kuwait and Bahrain.” He continued, “Our first outlet has opened in time for Eid Al Fitr and Dubai residents can look forward to second store in Jumeirah in time for Eid Al Adha, with further planned openings in Abu Dhabi early in 2011.”
Semiramis is noted for using only the finest ingredients and the finished products reflect the craftsmanship, pride and traditions of master pastry makers. Ingredients include the lightest filo pastry, pistachios, nuts and flower petals. In addition choose from mouth watering candied fruits, and chocolate covered dates enrobed in rose petals or coconut.
