Abu Dhabi, 18 January 2012: The Ministry of Finance (MoF) held its annual blood donation campaign in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Central Blood Bank at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, where both MoF employees and visitors took part in the initiative. The initiative was held in line with the ministry’s commitment to the community and its continuous support of health organizations and charitable entities.
The campaign took place during the Ministry’s official working hours, where MoF aimed to reinforce principles of social responsibility among its staff members, who in turn displayed enthusiasm about participating in this noble effort.
Commenting on the campaign, Saif Ali Al Khatri, Director of Government Communications Department at MoF, said: “Our annual blood donation campaign reflects our deep commitment to continuously provide support to our local community through joining efforts with Abu Dhabi Central Blood Bank to ensure that the needs of residents and patients are met. These social efforts are a reflection of the humanitarian principles and beliefs of our country.”
