A special one-of-a-kind scaled replica vessel, commissioned by P&O Maritime Services and made entirely out of 20,000 LEGO bricks was finished and handed over to The Angel Appeal at the end of Industry Question Time, which took place today at the Middle East Workboats Exhibition running from the 3-5 October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The LEGO model is a replica of The Flying Angel, a vessel that goes out to ships anchored off the east coast of the United Arab Emirates offering help and support to thousands of seafarers, and will be auctioned at a later date to raise funds for the UAE-registered charity organisation, Angel Appeal.
