Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi and Aabar Investments PJS have teamed up to host a benefit dinner during the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The exclusive event on 9th November is in support of Special Care Centre of Abu Dhabi (an educational center for special needs youth) and will see MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Driver Michael Schumacher signing his race suit for the auction.
At the glamourous red carpet affair, guests will delight in an exquisite four course menu from one of the specially designed Grand Prix menus available at Pearls & Caviar, Hoi An and Shang Palace throughout Grand Prix week. Following the dinner will be the highly anticipated live auction at the stunning open air lounge of Pearls & Caviar. One hundred percent of the money raised will go directly to benefit the Special Care Centre of Abu Dhabi.
The highlight of the elegant evening and most coveted auction package will be when Schumacher will donate his race suit which he will autograph at the event. This will be packaged along with a seven course dinner for two at Pearls & Caviar, prepared by guest Chef Jean Paul Lourdes. The third part of this auction package will be a two-night stay at the Executive Suite at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi.
