Abu Dhabi, October 23, 2011: The Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp) has announced that four new companies will be joining its industrial zones. Home to a range of diverse industries, ZonesCorp’s new additions (Penta Global Engineering Company LLC, Jindal Saw Limited, Neopharma, and Emirates Sugar) belong to different sectors, including engineering services, ductile iron pipe manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and sugar production.
Crediting ZonesCorp’s unique offerings, Abu Dhabi’s strategic location and the UAE government’s support as reasons behind their choices to establish facilities within ZonesCorp, the four operations will positively contribute to ZonesCorp’s strategy of supporting the growth of the industrial sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and on a national level.

Penta Global Engineering Company LLC’s new facility will be operating in ZonesCorp’s ICAD III. Penta Global provides high-end mechanical engineering services to owners and EPC contractors in the fields of Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Fertilizer and Power. Jindal Saw Limited will be setting up its Ductile Iron Pipe manufacturing plant under the name Jindal Saw Gulf LLC in ICAD III, to meet the needs of growing water and sewage applications. Neopharma’s new facilities in ZonesCorp will be the country’s and the region’s first state-of-the-art plant to produce Cephalosporins APIs in line with its strategy to become an integrated healthcare enterprise providing end to end solutions. Emirates Sugar’s operational facility, on the other hand, will be producing sugar for food and pharmaceutical industry usages.
Zonescorp develops industrial zones, and currently operates and manages 5 industrial cities in Abu Dhabi hosting over 600 industrial projects, 200 of which are fully operational. It is home to industrial factories in various sectors. ZonesCorp is currently expanding its zones, which will be covering an area of over 50 sq. km by 2020.
