Abu Dhabi, October 2011: Doctors region-wide now have the opportunity to take three world-recognised medical courses in Abu Dhabi.
Imperial College London Diabetes Centre has announced that it will again run two coveted MRCP courses (Membership of the Royal College of Physicians), as well as Hammersmith Medicine’s acclaimed Advanced Medicine.
MRCP 1 and MRCP 2 are scheduled to take place at ICLDC in Abu Dhabi at the end of October to run concurrently with the capital’s popular Medical Congress (October 23-25 2011). Meanwhile, Advanced Medicine will take place December 18-19 2011.
The two MRCP courses and the Advanced Medicine course come with HAAD-accredited Continued Medical Examination (CME) hours of 21 and 11.5, respectively.
The three programmes will be presented by Imperial College London’s Professor Karim Meeran, with Dr John Chambers from St Mary’s Hospital, supported by visiting specialists from the Hammersmith Medicine group.
Last year’s courses received positive feedback, with one delegate saying that it was the one of the best courses experienced in three decades. Another endorsement noted that the most complex of topics were very well explained.
