AECOM has been awarded a contract for AED 16.5 million (USD 4.49 million) for consultancy services with the Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA).
The work includes the improvement, reinforcement, extension and development of the water distribution networks in the western region of Abu Dhabi and involves study, design, tendering and construction supervision.
In the Al Ain region AECOM have also announced a new win worth AED 5.5 million (USD 1.55 million) with ADDC. The project commission involves the design and construction supervision and relevant works for water supply networks to the Eastern Region of Abu Dhabi. The scope of work includes the design of water distribution networks for Bani Yas, Al Wathba, Al Nahda and Al Mafraq areas with a total approximate length of 145 kilometers including the connection to the existing main distribution pipelines. In addition the scope includes augmentation work for the existing water networks falling in the eastern region of Abu Dhabi.
