Abu Dhabi, November 28, 2011: The Higher Cooperation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp) announced today that it will be sponsoring the UAE – British Businesswomen Forum in London, held under the patronage and in attendance of HH Sheikha Dr. Hind bint Abdul Aziz Al Qassimi, Chairperson of the UAE Businesswomen’s Council. The forum will be taking place on December 2-3, 2011. ZonesCorp will also be signing a loyalty charter to President HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the event in line with the UAE’s 40th National Day celebrations.
The forum provides a unique networking platform for local and international organizations and prominent businesspeople and aims to further promote the involvement of Emirati women in all domains. It will feature over 250 individuals from the UAE and the UK, where attendees will discuss mutual cooperation opportunities.
ZonesCorp will be represented by its Vice President for Marketing and Communications, Samer Alhaira, who will be giving a speech during the opening session highlighting the various opportunities and services that ZonesCorp provides to local and foreign investors. Alhaira will also shed light on the important opportunities that ZonesCorp offer to British investors.
Commenting on the event, Alhaira said: “The UAE – British Businesswomen Forum in London will be occurring at the same time as the UAE’s 40th National Day, allowing us to renew our pledge of loyalty to President HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. ZonesCorp will be one of the main sponsors of the event, in line with the directives of our CEO HE Mohamed Hasan Al Qamzi, in its efforts to support the role of Emirati women and enhancing their role in society. ZonesCorp also aims to promote foreign investments in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and in the UAE through its participation.”

ZonesCorp had recently participated in the Abu Dhabi Mumbai Investment Forum 2011, which featured a host of prominent investors and decision makers from the UAE and India. The Forum focused on mutual cooperation opportunities between the two countries. ZonesCorp also held a workshop event in Delhi last October 2011, where attendees included investors, managing directors, and business developers from prominent Indian entities.
