Abu Dhabi, 25 October 2011 –As Fall sets in, and the UAE’s residents eagerly await to head outdoors, international Cantonese cuisine sensation Hakkasan Abu Dhabi stays one step ahead on the game, as its plans the exciting launch of its new stylish and cozy terrace, to complement the introductions of new additions to its menu.

The 64- seat capacity terrace is expected to be unveiled in the first week of November and will be one of the premier additions to Abu Dhabi’s Al-Fresco set. Perched on the east wing on the exclusive Emirates Palace Hotel, the terrace offers a beautiful view of the city, overlooking the Etihad towers. The stunning venue conveys a natural oasis charm that is achieved by the rustic wooden structures that are surrounded by water, while still evoking a distinctive Chinoiserie decadence that is at the heart of Hakkasan’s design ethos.

To celebrate the new terrace, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi will be launching inspirational additions to their à la Carte menu, from this week onwards. Designed by Head Chef Lee Kok Hua, the menu will present eleven new delectable recipes, especially tailored for its Abu Dhabi clientele, showcasing local ingredients and ensuring an even more unique and sophisticated dining experience. The new recipes have been designed in line with Hakkasan’s food philosophy of ‘modern authenticity’, a successful fusion of classic cuisine with a modern twist that brings originality and vitality to each bite.“Our menus are ingredient-driven and seasonally relevant”, says Chef Lee, “in addition, our menus contain dishes that have been carefully designed based on our understanding of the local market and our customers tastes”.

The new introductions to the Hakkasan Abu Dhabi menu will include the following delectable dishes:
? Chilean sea bass and baby spinach soup
? Szechuan style quail with garlic cucumber salad
? Fried homemade pumpkin tofu with Thai style mango sauce
? Charcoal grilled King prawns in black pepper honey sauce
? Szechuan style braised Dover sole with pickled cabbage
