Global Village launches VIP packages for sale starting September 28th

Global Village introduces a new mechanism to activate packs online for a new smart system to identify car plate numbers.

Dubai, UAE, 12 September 2019: Global Village, the world’s leading multicultural Festival Park and the region’s first family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, announced the launch of its highly anticipated VIP packs sales that will start from 10am on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Global Village has invited its guests from across the UAE to take advantage of the new and added benefits of VIP packages – which will be available exclusively through select Virgin Megastore outlets and Virgin Megastore Tickets’ e-store.

Global Village's strategic partnership with Virgin Megastore has made it possible to offer exclusive sales points across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Outlets have been selected for providing most convenience to guests, which include Mirdif City Center, Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Mercato Mall, and Arabian Ranches 2 in Dubai, as well as Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi. Packages will also be launched via the online store at tickets.virginmegastore.me with option for delivery.

A big drawcard for guests this year is that Global Village has doubled the number of packages offered compared to last season, due to the increasing demand from guests who enjoy exclusive features and privileges when they visit the No. 1 entertainment destination in the UAE. With the increase in the number of packages, Global Village has also been keen to provide new features within the packs to increase their added value.

Commenting on the launch of the sales campaign, Bader Anwahi, CEO of Global Village, said: “Our strategy to introduce the VIP packs aims to enrich the experience of our guests, especially those who regularly visit Global Village. We have made huge efforts for this season, focusing on infrastructure development, which includes the expansion of the VIP parking zones and the adoption of smart systems, to be able to cater for more guests and enhance their experience. We have also been working closely with Virgin Megastore to provide exclusive selling points in various outlets, as well as through the Virgin Megastore Tickets website. This further builds on our commitment to providing a seamless experience that maximizes accessibility and comfort for valued guests.”

VIP packs include VIP parking car pass as well as VIP entry tickets, Carnaval cards, and Circus cards. Exclusive new features this season include cards to enter the region’s first Ripley's Believe it or Not!® attraction museum, in addition to cards for the most exciting “Stunt Show: Survivor”.

The Ripley's Believe It or Not!® attraction museum is one of the most important new additions this season, being a world-renowned entertainment brand with over 100 destinations in more than 10 countries. The American-born brand is known for offering exotic and unique intricacies from around the world and will be offering a brand new entertainment experience for the millions of Global Village’s guests.

“Our team is currently working according to a set of strategies that we have identified, which puts the happiness of the millions of our guests at the heart of our commitments. The start of the season for our internationally renowned brand will bring many unique and exciting surprises and events, and we are working around the clock to ensure every aspect is carried out to the highest international standards”, Anwahi added.

Only guests over the age of eighteen will be able to purchase VIP packs starting Saturday, September 28 from 10am at selected Virgin Megastore outlets and through the online store. The number of packs is limited to a maximum of two per guest and a valid Emirates ID is required at the time of purchase.

The packs are available in three categories – Platinum, Gold and Silver – all offering the same benefits but in varying quantities. The Platinum packs are available exclusively through Virgin Megastore at Mirdif City Center, while Gold and Silver packs are available in all the selected outlets. Platinum pack will be available for sale at AED 5,000 includes a special remote control for a dedicated reserved parking in the VIP parking zone. The Gold pack will be for AED 1,900 and the Silver pack for AED 1,300. Each pack will offer great value and discounts up to 50% as well as the access to the VIP parking zones near the entry gates.

In a gesture aimed to further reward its guests, Global Village is offering two complimentary packs from its industry partners with every VIP pack purchased. The first pack of Meraas Leisure and Entertainment offers a range of discount cards and tickets for its various destinations such as Roxy Cinema, Hub Zero, The Green Planet, Laguna Water Park and Mattel Play Town!. The second complimentary pack from Dubai Parks and Resorts also offers a range of tickets and discounts for its highly popular attractions such as Motiongate, Bollywood Parks, Legoland, Legoland Water Park, Al Mashowa Restaurant and Lapita Hotel.

For Season 24, Global Village will introduce a smart system to recognize car plate numbers at the entrances and exits of VIP parking, which aims to facilitate the process of entry and exit. After purchase, guests will need to activate their VIP packs through Global Village’s website in order to be able to enjoy seamless access to VIP parking zones.

Sales of Global Village’s VIP packs start on September 28, and are available in limited quantities exclusively at select Virgin Megastore outlets until stock runs out.
