Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Manuel Santos as Food and Beverage Manager. Manuel is a Portuguese national who started his passion in Food & Beverage as a child cooking beside his mother in the North of Portugal. In 1994 he decided to extend his curiosity for food and wine by studying Hotel Management and starting his adventure in the hotel industry.
Manuel completed his apprenticeship in Starwood's Luxury Collection hotel in Algarve and since then he has worked his way up in various F&B positions across the world such as Portugal, U.K., Dubai and The Bahamas.
Manuel brings with him 14 years of experience in top hotel companies such as Orient Express Hotels, Hyatt, Starwood and Jumeirah, including two hotel openings with the latter companies.
